Hey,
Over the years, I have used the Advanced Appearance dialog in Windows to change the window background color, text color, title bar colors, and the like. I can find no way to do this in Win8 Desktop. I tried the high contrast trick to get into similar options but that also seemed to change icon styles and made for an otherwise poor looking desktop. Is there any way to get that Advanced Appearance dialog back?
I have similar problems in Office 2013. Even with the dark grey look, it is far too bright and bland. If I could customize the look of Word as done in prior versions with Advanced Appearance, that would be very welcome.
Thanks.
