One thing that annoys with Windows 8 is the lock screen. I don't want my monitor to turn of after one minute (or whatever it's set to). I haven't found a setting to change this, so I guess you aren't supposed to change it? Unless I've missed it.
It feels like this was designed with only tablets in mind. Why couldn't it just be affected by the settings I've set up in the control panel? And I'd also want the screensaver to work..
Also another annoying thing with the lock screen is that I can't start typing my password immediately, instead I have to press a key and wait just a little before I can start typing. Sometimes I forget this and type in my password and press enter, but of course it says that it was the wrong password, because it didn't register the first two/three keys.
Since I'm using a desktop pc, what's the point with this "Swipe to unlock" crap? Though I like having the time and date in the left corner. The optimal thing would be to have the date and time and the wallpaper on the same screen as the password screen.
Does anyone know if I can do something about this?
