How to do this? SPace between metro tiles??

How do you create more space between the tiles such as in the pic below? Also how do you do it so you can have just 1 row in a group such as below?

When you are selecting the position of your metro tile, just drag it a bit more to the right than usual and it should spring back onto a new column.

    Same problem here.

It seems that Start Screen wants to put at LEAST 2 tiles beside each other when they are in a GROUP. No way to separate them and place them under each other, and have just 1 colum instead of 2.

Maybe the Gurus here know of a way?

Are we talking about ROWS that go horizontally or columns? For a single row that is one tile and centered, you can use Decor8 or a registry tweak to do that under the Windows Metrics key I think.

    Hello Matt,

As some have already posted, you could just drag a tile over until it starts a new group (column), then drop it. You would just repeat until you have all the tiles organized how you like with only 1 or 2 columns of small or large tiles per group.

    Hope this helps,

Just drag to a group then, it matters on the tile size if its larger than only 1 if its small then 2 next to each other and keep on going down.
