Displaying different images on two different monitors

I recently installed some of the new Win8 themes and really liked them. I have two monitors and a different image (both from the same theme) was displayed on each monitor.

Then, I later noticed that the images were being periodically changed, so I stopped that by selecting one image.

But now, the SAME image appears on both monitors.

Is there a way to go back to different images, but have them be static?

Do you have the monitors set to extended? I know that there are some 3rd party software that will allow you do that. Displayfusion and ultrmon come to mind. I have the paid version of DisplayFusion.
