Solved Is it possible to customise the Windows X menu?

After you mentioned the name I did some more searching and have managed to fix the problem. The problem was the folder 'C:\Users\User1\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\WinX' was missing. I copied it over from another computer and it now works great. Thanks for the help.

This post from another thread had me wondering - the WinX folder holds some more Group folders which in turn hold shortcuts.

Is it possible to customise what appears from the Windows-X shortcut by creating extra shortcuts into this folder? Or would it wreck my user configuration!?
