Glitch while removing Windows 8 Watermark

I used the WCP Watermark Remover to remove the Windows 8 watermark. I restarted and, as I had hoped, the watermark was gone. However, any indication as to the edition of Windows I used as it should be displayed in the System window was also gone.

Hence is there any way to keep the watermark gone but regain all the information on my Windows Edition?

    Thanks

    Hello Melkor,

    Is your Windows 8 activated?

If you had an activated Windows 8 (RTM and not CP or RP) installed, then you shouldn't have a watermark to begin with.

Usually with Enterprise, restarting the computer after activation by changing the product key gets rid of the watermark.

You could do a system restore using a restore point (if available) dated before you used that program to restore the info.
