Is there a way to type in the username and password into the logon screen to log on to the computer.

I've searched through the tutorials and couldn't find one.

Is it possible to do this?

Do I need an application or do I need to edit my registry?

Please Help

Al :confused::confused:

Did you try the control panel applet for setting up user accounts? There should be a setting in there which enables/disables automatic login. Disabling would ensure that you are prompted to login. Is that what you mean?

I see. Did you try using their registry edit technique that works on Windows 7? It might work on Windows 8...
