Having downloaded a number of theme packs, is there any way to combine them into one unit so that all the pictures will run as a single unit?

I suppose find all the wallpapers in the themepack , you need to use 7zip or Winrar then open it . Extract the BG's to a safe location ex. Desktop get all the themepack's wallpaper that you like and then compress it to a folder after that go to Personalize , Wallpapers then locate the folder where all the BG's are .

You can find the pictures here ==>

C:\Users\"your user name"\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Themes

Simply copy the pictures you like to, say a map on you desktop, and create a custom theme with them.

Have fun!!!

Ok the easiest way is to find all your download themes (in file manager they should be in your download folder). Make a new folder in temp folder and move them there. Download 7ZIP and run it (click on 7zip if you don’t have it and it will take you to the download page) unless you have it already. After opening 7Zip find the file you made ad one at a time extract the theme. When extracting the file to extract it will ask you where to extract it to just let it extract to the same folder. It will then create a new folder then double click on that folder while in 7zip to open it. Then extract the theme it just created, it will ask you where just click on ok and it will give you a pop up that says (0% Extracting and will give you the location) click on close and it will have extracted the pictures into the folder DesktopBackground. Do this for all the themes you have. When you have extracted all themes you will have a folder for each theme you extracted which will have all of its pictures in it. Now move all of those pictures to one folder and then you can go through that folder and delete the pics you do not want to use. You could even use a photo viewer to see them as a larger pic. Once you have weeded out the ones you want move that folder to your pictures folder. Close all windows and right click mouse and select personalize. Pull down the Picture location so say Picture Library select brose and find the folder in your pictures library and then select all and then save. And you are done.
