gpedit for windows 8 core ?

Windows 7 Home Premium didn't come with the group policy editor either But there are workarounds for this such as in this post- it gives you gpedit in win 7 home premium: How to Enable “Group Policy Editor” (gpedit.msc) in Windows 7 Home Premium, Home Basic and Starter Editions? - Tweaking with Vishal ( read all comments for workarounds to problems)

Anyone tried this on Windows 8 Core edition?

    Hello Dark Rider,

It didn't work or work very well in Windows 7, so I wouldn't expect it to work in Windows 8 at all.
