get Windows Classic Theme in Windows 8

Say what? The title itself asks the question if you would want the old Classic Windows theme last seen as an option in Vista on Windows 7 or now Windows 8?! Someone over at deviatArtists appatently did just that while the find was on a totally different site with numerous apps for the latest version seen at Full Windows 8 Tutorials

Here's part of the description seen for the Classic Theme application itself.

One of the better options that Windows has always given to its users from the very beginning is the customization of Graphical User Interface. The major change occurred with the release of Windows XP. Windows XP came with the concept of themes which could easily be changed and the color schemes of Windows could be customized according to our requirements. Same concept carried on in Windows Vista and Windows 7 except that they included Windows Aero themes, not present in Windows XP. But the very famous theme for Windows including Windows XP had been Windows Classic theme.

This theme was removed from Windows 7.

Many things were removed from Windows 7. Like the classic menu and the option to change all system fonts.
The 7 start menu became this blocky thing that could not be resized. The group policy editor was removed from 7 premium. Windows 7 is not everything it is touted to be. It has grey hairs and needs a service pack.
Using the classic theme is hard core plain jane and flat. If one wears a bowtie, it may be usable.

Well for some they wouldn't even consider upgrading out of XP to start with afraid that any newer version is too complicated? Yet I have one friend who borrows a 7 laptop until he can get either his old XP desktop running again or buy something new to run XP on.

For others running on lower end hardware configurations and worried about resources or prefer not to use the Aero even for Vista, 7, or simply want a more Classic theme to work with this is one option they can consider for 8.

One of the largest complaint heard from the start about 8 is the lack of options for customizing things. This simply one option for an older look.
