This seemed like a customization thing... I tried searching but in the first three pages of results I didn't find anything that related to what I was looking for. That's all my disclaimers.
So I want to be able to sort a list of folders by their size, preferably with freeware of course. Is this possible? Is it crazy? I realize that I can hover a mouse and view the size of individual folders but I'm culling a music directory with over 15,000 artist folders in it and I want to see which ones have massive discographies and which ones contain just a few songs. Repetitive and menial tasks like hovering 15000 times is the reason we made automated computers Is there any way in Win 8 to do this or do I have to wait for the software to catch up?
Hey Shawn, thanks for the uber fast answer! Unfortunately I tried that but once I had it list the folders by size it just displayed the size of the root directory(so the size of my music folder was listed by each folder, not the size of "Modest Mouse" or "White Stripes").
That's what it keeps giving me for "Total Size"("total file size" and "size" didn't list anything), which is the total size of the library listed next to each folder, not the folders within the current directory.
