Remove gadgets on context menu.

I have a problem when i upgrade windows 8 from windows 7.

I tried to search how to remove it, but i didn't find anyway to remove it :cry:

Please help me, thank you very much :eek:

Please export the following registry keys below as .reg files, and upload them here. These are the usual registry locations for desktop context menu items. I'll be happy to take a look through your .reg file, and post back with one to remove this for you. :)

Did you download the .reg file to your desktop, double click on it to merge it, and approved/allowed any prompts?

Are you logged in an administrator account?

You wouldn't need to do anything else like restart.

Yes, after download, i double click, and chosse Yes. And i restart my computer.

My computer only have 1 account :-? i choose type is administrator :-?

I choose Gadgets key and right click -> permission -> advance -> change -> advance -> find out -> choose my user account -> ok -> tick on replace owner on subcontainers and objects. -> ok -> ok.

And i delete gadgets key, but it alert: "Can not delete gadgets, error while deleting key" :-?

Sounds good so far, but it also sounds like you missed step 14 to set permissions to "Allow" yourself "Full control" before trying to delete Gadgets. See step 4 in OPTION TWO in the link in the quote below.

14. You or members of the administrators group, if selected in step 9, will now be able to grant access permissions for this file, folder, drive, or registry key if you like.
