Pin to Start - Recycle Bin Menu

    Hi all,

I was just wondering if anyone knew of a way to remove the 'Pin to Start' item when you right click the recycle bin?

The reason why is I constantly use empty recycle bin from this menu and keep accidently clicking it.

    Thanks a lot!

Just found a solution, hope this will help you and everyone else who came here from google.
    Run Regedit, look for HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell\pintostartscreen

Make a backup to .reg file (use context menu) and delete the whole branch. Effective immediately

This will remove Pin to Start option from Windows Explorer but you will still be able to pin your favorite apps from Start menu search.

Just as a warning, that doing what RussianT posted above will remove "Pin to Start" from all folders and drives, and not just the Recycle Bin.
