Is there any way to "convert" notifications?

I just installed Windows 8 on my custom built pc. Im so far very impressed of the performance, and I like how the New style actually is. Even on a pc, and not just a tablet.

But anyway; To the point:
I was wondering if it is possible to convert the oldstyle systemtray Notifications to the New Metro/Toast Notifications. I want everything to go one place, not just everywhere. I like the new Notification system more than the old systemtray one.

Well, unfortunately no, not without a third party app I would imagine. I agree, I do love the notification toasts versus the now gross looking balloons in the notification area. Usually, if you're in a metro app, and Windows Defender (or a file transfer error) will notify you with the metro notification.

Hopefully, someone thinks of this!
