Yeah, I agree. Something like the Galaxy Note is (to me) ridiculous - too small for a tablet, too big for a phone. But my current 3.5" screen is really annoying now, I use it a lot more than I thought I would and a bigger screen is a must. 4" is a little better but 4.5ish is what I prefer.

    Seems legit.

Verizon is finally full on board with Windows Phone 8 as they are to carry the Nokia Lumia 920, 820, and seems like an 822. HTC will most likely be on Verizon with their new Windows Phone offerings. THAT, was the Achilles heel of Windows Phone 7, no Verizon support. Att came a year later to support it, and are now more with the Lumia 900. Windows Phone is now the viable third option carriers are wanting, something that doesn't have the issues of android, something that isn't closed off like iphone; but with something people will enjoy. If user satisfaction says anything, Windows Phone wins. Before with 7, hardware wasn't on the high end. It is now and exceeds the new iphone and gives the latest high end android phones a run for their money.

As for me, my Lumia 900 is better than any iphone!

Last night on Facebook I saw countless comments from people on how exited about the latest I phone they were and how much they wanted it soooo badly! One of the comments was something like this: "New I phone 5 now with integrated Facebook... OMGZ I WANT I WANT I WANT!"
This made me laugh, why on earth would someone get so exited over something like integrated Facebook? What is integrated Facebook anyway? Does it mean you no longer have to download the app because it's pre installed? My guess is it's something like my android phone and tablet which syncs Facebook data to my contacts and let's me see Facebook details and share without actually going to the Facebook app... but I've had that feature for years and never use I anyway.... I guess it just means it's going to make it even easier for people be even more annoying on Facebook than before. Great I can't wait for that to happen!

Thanks, Coke, but where did yo get this info on Vz and Windows Phone 8? I logged into my account and couldn't find it, nor have I seen anything in literature they send me.

The only Windows phone I see they offer is the HTC Trophy with a 1GHz processor, 586MB RAM, and 16GB mem. They are big on Droid first, then the iPhone. Verizon to me slacks in the make/model/OS department.

I see no offer yet for the iMe phone 5. The iPhone 4S still goes for $849.99......???!!! That's an awfull lot of bucks for a phone, especially for a soon-to-be outdated one! This is what's listed for resources :

    Processor
    Dual–core A5 custom–designed, high–performance, low–power system–on–a–chip

No other specs. What the hay is that??!! What are in these things?

The 4G Apple iPad with Wi–Fi + Cellular 64GB (Black) is listed at $829.99 <- ????!!!! What da...fill in the blanks??!!

LOL! Great post, burtie. Are these people really that stupid? -> Like they're getting a great deal when in fact it's a simple app. GG!!

Although I don't have an account, I think FB and other social sites are good for social info, for I come from a huge family. About 120 of us at our Christmas party. I get quick important updates from my daughters within minutes.

Some people are addicts. I think we'll see it listed as a new addiction soon!

It means that Facebook is part of the OS. All apps that are installed within the OS have direct integration to Facebook, so you can easily post all pictures, and other output from one app directly into Facebook. Things like iTunes integration, Siri can post status updates for you, etc. It's not the be-all end-all, it's just new.

The ones to question are the ones who are scoffing at the inclusion of something they haven't spent any time researching to know what it actually does and that it is more than a simply pre-installed application.

For the price they are asking I think I am allowed to scoff at the integration of Facebook into the Os. The only people who are going to get exited are the tons of attention seekers who like to post status updates every five minutes and instigram photos of their food...lolz

You are correct, Parks. I didn't take the time nor do I have the time right now. I just think the hype is silly.

The iPhone 5 really isn't very expensive, compared to other similar smartphones, is it? Seems like around $99 is about the entry level area, and $199 is pretty typical for new versions of many phones..I know the Droid Razr was around that price, and the Galaxy SIII is around that price too.

My wife is an iPhone user and she is excited. She has been on a iPhone 3GS for 3.5 years now. She was up for a renewal about 1.5 ago, but didn't want an iPhone 4 or 4s because of the glass back. The iPhone price is actually cheaper now than it was back then, so I'm not too fussed about the price. She was close to moving to a Motorola Razr Maxx this past year, but simply couldn't bring herself to getting a Droid. (she hates my Droid 2). She has been 100% satisfied with her iPhone for the past 3.5 years, never a need to pull a battery to reset it, it has the applications she wants to use, and it's held up to not breaking even with our kids using it day in and day out.

And for the record, she only posts every few days on facebook, and has never done an instigram photo.

Do you really think the average consumer of these devices gives a rip about the legal situation between Apple and Samsung? They buy the phones because they like them, that's all. Only the most diehard "fanboi" is going to react by boycotting Apple or Samsung over their legal fights.

I have to disagree with your statement as I regularly hear from friends and see posts on facebook from people about how the love of their life the iPhone has gone and died on them, or that they cant make calls, or text messages have gone astray, or that they have lost everything from their iPhone.
You can "disagree" all you like, all I was doing was telling you my observation. I wasn't coming to a conclusion. :-)
