Well, I wanted to start a thread about all of the crap that we have to purchase in our day to day lives which take money away from supporting our computer habits/addictions.

This week, I paid
--Down payment money for my wife's new 2012 Dodge Durango
--1/2 the cost of having new gutters installed on our home
--A Korg digital piano for my daughter who is just starting piano lessons.

So, needless to say, no computer money for me at the present time.

LOL! I sympathize with you, Parks. Wives and children don't come cheap. I have no wife expense anymore. That ended a while back, but I have custody of my daughter and just spent a $ton$ on enrolling her into sophomore year. You know -> I wasn't going to list this -> but it irritates me to no end. :mad:

$250 Enrollment fee -> That does include books, but return at year's end -> If damaged -> $Pay$ to replace.
$150 Sports entrance fee -> She decided to go into what?! -> Pom Poms! -> I wanted volleyball -> She's a head taller than the rest of the girls her age!
$125 for a physical <- I paid that last year! -> The kid functions the same this year! She's just taller!!
$250 for Pom Poms, uniform, and shoes <- Two pair? <- one for practice, one for show??!!
$150 Parking permit <- What the #@*&+%$ ->A?!!
$925 <- This is a public high school!!!
$300 for clothes I gave her. (which I think I got off pretty cheap) :D
$1225 <- Dollar Holler!!! :cry:

She'll be taking her lunch to school or pay for them herself, but even that she works part time, I know she'll hit me up for some.

3.4 grade average last year -> She's a good kid! :thumb:

Good idea, Parks! A place where I can vent. :)

Now for that letter to the school board....................
