Thank you all, but, somewhat sad to say, I didn't have a relationship with my father for a long time. We were indifferent with each other. I hadn't seen him since my mother died in 2000. I was close with her. We said nothing to each other but a hello at her memorial. Some of my siblings, not all, continued a relationship with him through the years.

All I'll say is that he wasn't much of a father to me. He didn't seem to have the time to spend with us. A good provider, but not a father. Not to say I was exactly the easiest kid to raise. I'm not ashamed to say that I sought counseling on this back when I was around 30 going through a devastating divorce. 30 was a huge changing point in my life. I don't slam him, nor will I blame him, for that's the way he was raised. He just saw things his way and that's the way it was. I accepted him as he was, the divorce, and went on in life and now looking back with very few minor regrets.

I am proud to sat that I have six children and six grand-children of whom I have a close and loving relationship with. I call/text/email them frequently while I'm up here in cheddar land and see them frequently when I'm back home. We all know what's going on in each others' lives. If I may say and if there is any advise I could give young fathers is that you should spend time with your children, even when you'd like to do something else. That's what they really want. Toys, gifts, and material things are fine, but your time with them is what they really want and need. I'll guarantee you'll never regret it, nor will they.

Thanks much again my forum friends. Today is the first day of the rest of our lives. Let's not waste them fighting and bickering over a controversial OS called 8. I'll ask to work together to learn it and use it to our advantage. There is constant in the universe called change. We either accept it and move forward or waste valuable time.

That is what I want too. But unfortunately and sadly enough, there are a few, well not a few, who DO NOT want to learn it and use it to their advantage. I remember one member terming this as "loss of productivity".

In fact, I was a bit surprised to find 8 disliking people here when I joined the forums, at first. I had thought that, this was the place for solving problems related Windows 8, tips & tricks and for the 8 enthusiasts as the name of the forum is "eightforums".

As my friend Tony said, its my humble request too to all the members here:

Got that email too Kevin. I hadn't installed it yet. But they tagged it as Windows 8 pro.

Arpan?? Didn't you know Tony had to get back into the Tardis, and go forward in time, and save Microsoft?

Well. People have their own way learning things. I just see being different doesn't always mean being wrong.

I accept that in a view that we can build better thing from differences.

    Hey Tony.

LOL Mike! Thanks, but I can't save M$ or anyone. They need to save themselves through the Ultimate Plan already carried out.

My name does mean "messenger" as recorded in history, though. I suggest all should lQQk theirs up.
