Need some help with servers.

Hello everyone. I am posting in off topic because this topic is not directly related to Windows 8.

Recently I was lucky enough to obtain two server desktops for free! I've never used or messed around with servers before, so this is completely new territory for me (you could call me a noob when it comes to servers). Now these are older servers from around the Windows Server 2003 R2 era (2005-2007ish).

One of them is a Dell PowerEdge 840 with a Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition product key sticker on it. It has no hard drives, but it does work. I did some research, and I think it's capable of hosting an online Steam game (like Team Fortress 2 and such), and I wouldn't mind hosting a server for that. I could be wrong though.

The other, well, I honestly don't know who it was made by, or what its model is. There is some OEM logo on the front, but I don't recognize it. This one does have a hard drive, however I think the drive is bad. It has Windows XP Professional on it, but it doesn't boot. So that means it's either a bad hard drive, or a corrupt installation of XP (which, if it's the later, that would be a very easy fix). It never gets past the Windows XP bootscreen though, and simply restarts with the old 'Windows did not start properly' screen.

What I would like to do with them is use one as a storage server, and the other, as I previously stated, to host an online game. Like I said, this is all new to me. So here are my questions so far:

-Do servers use the same hard drives as regular desktop computers?
-Where can I find a Dell OEM ISO for Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Standard Edition? Like I said, I have the product key, and I would really do want an ISO for it (Even if I don't plan on using that OS on the server, I would still like an ISO).

Anyways, any help would be great. Like I said, I'm a complete noob when it comes to servers, so feel free to point me to any resources to help me out. If I have any more questions, I'll post them here. Thanks in advance!
