OT: I think I shall miss this place...

As I am not using the 10 preview as my main OS and so far seems to be quite stable, knock on wood, I'm a guessing that my time spent here will lesson considerably.

Well, it's been a slice, thanks.

Just because you aren't running W8 as your main OS doesn't mean that you can't still hang around here and offer help to those that do.

Well, eightforums always was and is kind of a dead place - nothing bad, but the popularity of windows 8 forums is about the same as popularity of windows 8. Windows 7 still is most popular os and sevenforums is much more popular place. And windows 10 is a joke already, so i wont even try it, just looking for a way migrate bak to windows 7, but first have to "solve" some nvidia drivers bugs.

You'd be surprised. The kind of people that come looking for help are the same kind who don't upgrade their existing OS, they stick with whatever came pre-installed on their machine.

I still plan to visit all 4 boards daily (never had Vista, joined there). No reason to leave, even if you switch

I do not miss the Win 7 Start Menu at all. I spend 99 % of my time on the Desktop, but don't miss it.
