Dang that sounds good, you set off my chocolate addiction! Will have to try it.

Wonder what would happen if you put the IPhone in the mug before placing in the microwave? Brownie with a surprise in the middle.

For regular brownies, this is the best brownie recipe I have found.
This recipe is from the back of the Ghirardelli Cocoa can.
It makes one of the best homemade brownies I've ever tasted!

    Ghirardelli Award Winning Brownies

    2 Eggs
    3/4 cup of granulated sugar
    1 tsp vanilla extract
    1/2 cup butter - melted.
3/4 cup Ghirardelli Sweet Ground Chocolate & Cocoa
    2/3 cup unsifted flour
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
1 cup Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Bittersweet Chips (optional)

    Preheat oven to 350-F.
    Grease 8"x 8" or 9" x 9" baking pan.
In a medium bowl, stir together eggs, sugar and vanilla.
Add melted butter and mix well.
Sift ground chocolate with flour, baking powder and salt.
Stir chocolate mixture into the egg mixture and add nuts and/or
chocolate chips. Spread into prepared baking pan.
Bake 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

If you have a digital probe thermometer (like a Thermapen) bake until
the center temperature reaches 185-F for gooey brownies, 190-F for moist brownies.

Use 8" pan for chewy brownies, use 9" pan for drier brownies.

If you like corn on the cob but don't want to have to boil a pot of water, this trick works well.

Get 3 or 4 paper towels, wet them & then wrap a corn on the cob in them (Husk removed). Put them in the microwave for about 2 minutes & you have hot cooked corn on the cob without all the fuss.

An easy way to soften and cook flour tortillas:

Rinse a flour tortilla under the kitchen faucet on both sides to moisten, for a second or two. Shake off excess moisture. Roll up in a paper towel and microwave for 8 or 10 seconds. Lay the tortilla on the paper towel and roll it so the paper towel is touching both sides of the tortilla, jelly roll fashion. A soft, dry, warm and flexible tortilla comes out of the microwave.

The trick is to just heat it enough. Each microwave is different. If heated too long, bread, tortillas, etc get chewy and rubbery in a microwave.

Hi there for once Apple seems to be following rather than leading the pack. From "Street Whisper" the new Iphone 5 to be unveiled this week doesn't really offer anything that isn't out there already - and forcing people to do everything via iTunes doesn't help either. I'm still glad I got...
