I don't understand. Are you all laughing at people buying phones they like?

Its just like Apple messed it all up this time - thats what I'm surprised,
iPhone6 is still pretty good it seems, but iP6+ - crappy aluminium covered gadget!

I'm not sure it is so much what they like as much as what is trendy and being pushed by the corporate machine with media's help. I honestly believe people would flock to buy a turd on a stick with the right marketing and the media hyping it as the best thing since sliced bread.

I would get a iPhone over a S5 though (after HTC but that is me). I don't know where to get a turd on a stick.

I was laughing at the idea of putting an Iphone in a microwave to charge it.

I'm sure the few who tried it would say that's a big fat NO! Have you ever put something metal in a microwave and heard the snap, crackle, pop? Imagine what that does to the phone's innards. Is kind of funny people tried it, although not if it was me. But being a retired electronics tech, I know better.

I haven't tried charging a phone in the microwave, but I know this recipe works.

Microwave Chocolate Brownie In A Mug In 60 seconds

This makes a delicious brownie for one in about a minute. I used a 1500 watt microwave. 60 seconds makes a molten center brownie. 75 seconds make a uniformly done brownie. Careful not to overcook.

    INGREDIENTS
2 Tbs vegetable oil or softened butter
    2 Tbs water
    1/4 tsp vanilla extract
    dash salt
    4 Tbs granulated sugar
    2 Tbs unsweetened cocoa powder
    4 Tbs all purpose flour

    INSTRUCTIONS
In a 12 oz coffee mug, add water, oil and vanilla. Whisk well.
Add cocoa powder, whisk well. Add sugar, whisk well. Add flour, whisk well.
Microwave for 60 to 90 seconds. Center should be slightly molten. Careful not to overcook.
Enjoy with a spoon. Careful brownie will be hot.
Great with a couple of tablespoons of vanilla ice cream.

Hi there for once Apple seems to be following rather than leading the pack. From "Street Whisper" the new Iphone 5 to be unveiled this week doesn't really offer anything that isn't out there already - and forcing people to do everything via iTunes doesn't help either. I'm still glad I got...
