Hi there.
I don't know how many have seen the first part of Virginia Rolf's excellent trilogy starting with DIVERGENT.
Shows how a "dystopian" soceity which in theory *could* work is deeply flawed and goes wrong. The Book trilogy is brilliant ( the parts are 1) DIVERGENT, 2) INSURGANT 3) ALLEGIANT
The trilogy was recently on the NY best sellers list so worth a read too if you can get hold of it.
I think it would make a great TV series too -- instead of the mindless endless BORING Reality shows that are on TV now -- even the usually OK BBC just seems to fill its schedules with repeats and stupid things like showing how bad some people are at driving ("So you think you can Drive") -- nice to know UK taxpayers are paying Huge amounts of money to what used to be a fabulous institution respected world wide to sit some stupid moronic teenager into a car with a TV camera and bore the pants of people by announcing the "surprising fact" teenagers like to speed. !!!!!
I don't suppose it will happen though -- probably cost too much money to put on any Intelligent TV these days (or is that (intelligent TV) a contradiction in terms !!).
