Bill Gates died, and Saint Peter met him at the Pearly Gates. "You're a difficult case," Saint Peter explained, "so we're going to have you be judged by a panel of people who installed Windows 8 over Windows 7 as their primary operating system. Gates was a little nervous, but he found the panel to be friendly and courteous.

"All right," the panel foreman explained, "the Bible says that you reap what you sow, so we're going to do to you what you did to us. We're going to let you start out in Heaven, and then we'll take you on a tour of Hell. After a while, you'll have to choose. But whatever you choose will be permanent, and you can never go back." "Okay," agreed Gates. "That's fair."

The tour of Heaven was very nice. Everything was stable and worked well, and if you wanted anything, you just had to point and click. After a while, Gates went down to Hell. In Hell, everything was fantastic. The graphics were far better than in Heaven, everything ran more quickly, and if you wanted something, you touched the Metro Interface. Furthermore, if there was anything in Heaven that you liked, you could still have it down in Hell.

After a while, Gates made his decision. "I want to stay in Hell," he announced. Suddenly, Gates found himself burning in flames. "Hey!" he yelled. "What happened to all the great stuff I saw on the tour?" "Oh", the Devil explained, "that was only the beta version."

Man, you admins are good! I only posted this in "General Discussion" 27 minutes ago, and you've already sent it to the Chill-out Room.

They're even better than that ,It went 1 minute after you posted it :roflmao:

Well, whoever did it, I want you to know that I am impressed. For the record, I THINK that this is the first Windows 8 joke.

Uhm, actually, I first heard it with Windows 95.

I really did try to find some Windows 8 jokes, but I can only get warmed-over jokes from previous versions.

Anyway, I have to get back to solving a software problem. I installed a screen saver I really like, but every time I use the mouse, it disappears.

They say when you play that Microsoft CD backward you can hear satanic messages ... but that's nothing. If you play it forward it will install Windows.
