Hi there
This World cup (in spite of the FIFA shenanigans and demonstarations in the cities) is turning out to be a real Spectators sport -- really strange results so far -- Switzerland beating Ecuador 2-1 in the last secs of injury time, the Dutch working over Spain giving the world champions a 5-1 drubbing, Uruguay (one of the possible contenders) being beaten by Cost Rica and the England Italy match putting that whole group (D) into a state of frenzy --anybody could go through with Italy who will probably top that group.
Brazil themselves only got through because of total bias by the Japanese Referee and Ivory Coast also surprisingly won.
None of the results so far are really going to expected predictions -- this already is going to be a great tournament.
Can't wait to see how Belgium does later this week (one of the surprising teams of last year).
Enjoy.
Cheers
