    On BLT sandwiches:

    Bacon in the store:

    That doesn't compute.
It's not the farmer that's making so much profit...

With home grown tomatoes though, I will splurge & buy some nice bacon.

I love your gardening idea.. Is that a dirt filled container or, are those pots, you've set inside the black film?
I would like to try something like you have.
    Thanks for replying.

I bought a long black plastic ribbon.
    I staked it into shape.

I bought 20 bags of MiracleGro potting soil & spread it out inside the ribbon.
I did not dig up the original soil.
I put the potting soil on top of it.

    It is a raised garden.
    Good drainage. No standing water.
    No weeds.

I put chicken wire around it to deter rabbits.
I put black plastic inside the wire to hold in the soil & to make watering it easier.

It's a good way to raise vegetables.

David thank you for explaining and your video is good at showing what you did.
I'm thinking since it's too hot now for tomatoes to set their blooms and fruit,
I'll try to get some planted a bit later for for FALL.

In the fall I cut up the dead plants & pile them up & cover them with landscape fabric & in the spring I dig a hole & bury the remaining parts & smooth out the garden.
