Yes, just when you thought that the man that has nearly killed MS was going to
slink back into the shadows and disappear Steve Ballmer is going to
do something that compares with the equally stupid introduction of Metro...
He is going to buy the LA Clippers NBA team for 2 Billion Dollars.

One would think he bought the entire NBA for that kind of money. I didn't even know people watched the NBA anymore.

    Agreed pparks....

The NBA is in trouble because the fan base views the organization as being greedy, the officiating as possibly being rigged, and the players as a bunch of arrogant, thuggish, and often times criminal prima donnas.

And one other small snag is that although Ballmer won the bidding to buy the team
Donald Sterling shows no sign of being willing to let the team go, at any price.

I almost wonder if Steve and Donald know each other on a personal basis? Both being billionaires and having homes in the LA area it is hard to believe that they don't circulate in the same social arena as well.

This is just the most Ludicrous deal I have seen from a major company in a loooong time.

No way is beats audio worth that kind of money. Tim Cook must be going senile.
