    If you install Windows XP after Windows 8, the Windows XP installation routine cannot recognize the Windows 8 operating system installation and the computer only boots into Windows XP.

    And I don't know if your computer is compatible with Windows XP and where can you find Windows XP drivers for Sony VAIO VPC-SE1E1E.

    It looks like my laptop does support Windows XP. I find 3 drivers on Vaio Support website, under 'Windows XP' section (called SATA Driver (Intel) HIPM Disable Registry Patch, VPCS SATA Driver non-RAID and VPCS SATA Driver RAID) and one package (XP downgrade installer v4.0 for VAIO notebooks).
