I ended up down for a couple days, but the wait was worth it.

    Hi Rickkins,

I'm trying to get a handle on the true meaning of your post but I don't see any before speeds to equate to the new speeds. It might also be beneficial if you explain why you were down for a few days. Was it due to an ISP overhaul that gave you your upgraded speed? Did your ISP download a modem firmware upgrade to improve your speeds?

So, you were just down and it came back that way? Did you check you modem to see if your firmware was updated too?

Anyway, now your joy makes more sense since you speed was doubled but if that happened to me, I'd sure like to know why.

    Congratulations on your upgraded speed!

I get the low low speeds of 500-600 kbps download speed. In an area that hasn't quite upgraded the old hardware yet for our track. Often times it runs in at 300 kbps, and I cry for the wait
