My wife has one of these silly devices called an Android Phone. I tried to google search for websites like Movie4.to or Viooz.co but cant seem to find any that work with Android's built in flash. See, these sites stream videos right from the browser window, not using any external apps (except for perhaps Flash and or some codecs)

It seems when ever you search this in google everyone wants you to install a 3rd party app. I don't trust this at all.

Why can't i find just a site that streams to Android the way it streams to my pc?

Flash does work on her phone, she says for most youtube videos so i assume it has the right codecs/flash player already built in.

You have to get apps from the playstore. I have the ones below and really never had any problem with them.

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gotv.crackle.handset
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.videos
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.ftv.america
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.filmon.android.aff25158Cj

BTW: Flash works with the Boat browser. But that's a little tricky. If you want to get that browser, I will look it up.

Retired in 2015 after working in the tech industry for 41 years. First 10 years as a Technician, the rest as a programmer/software engineer. After 1 year of retirement, I was bored so went back to work as a Robotic Process Automation Consultant. Retired for 3rd (and final) time in 2019.
Netflix is goot too. But that costs money - unfortunately.

Thanks for the links.. But why is this?

Android is only a mobile version of Linux - why does all this HAVE TO go through Google app store?

It's like Microsoft telling, me i cannot use any other browser but EI.. you know that didn't go over well..

Like i said.. Flash already works on the browsers the wife is using.. whats different about Boat?

I don't think Droid, at least 4.1 and above, has any Flash Functionality, cos all the Flash driven sites I use would not stream on the DoPo M7088 tablet I had last Christmas.

But there are Apps for Droid that stream, you can install Hobbyist "VLC Streamer" - You install VLC on your PC, then install the Helper App, and load up movies you wanna stream. Then you install VLC Streamer on your Droidevice, and you can stream those moovies from your PC into your tablet/phone. Once the moovies are properly converted,m it's a pretty good stream.

You can also install VLC Remote - It works the same for Droid as it does for iOS - You can find a Vid on YooToob you wanna watch, and it streams on your VLC on the Puter.

There are also apps, the Yootoob app, and I think Chromecast, those will stream well over WiFi, maybe even over 3G/4G

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
The only Android browser I could get to support flash is Dolphin Browser and you have to install flash archive.
