Maybe I'm missing something, but why go that route rather than just update through Windows Update?

Can you get IE updated on demand from Windows Update ?

Ah, OK.

Yes you can, just go to Control Panel > Windows Update > Check for Updates. The Flash Player update should be listed there, unless it's already installed itself automatically.

Well, my IE 11 had an older version of Flash installed.

This is after numerous updates from Windows Update.

Other updates were installed but nothing for IE 11.
Namely Flash.

I used my tutorial & Flash was updated.

I'll click the link after I post to see if it works on its' own & post back.

So, for ease of updating IE Flash, I suggest using the link.

It wouldn't hurt to update Shockwave while you are at it. :)

Mine never has.:confused:

Do you have Flash version 12.0.0.44 ?

Mine was really old before I used the Flash updater in my post.
Therefore, I concluded IE was not being updated through Windows Update.

Here is what mine shows.
I used the msu link on 2/5/14.
The update says 2/5/14.

A dilemma.

Was it Windows Update or me.?
{Reminds me of an old TV commercial}

Either way, one can always use the Flash update method to find out if a new version of Flash is available for IE or any other browser. :)
