It looks pretty but can you please keep it over your side of the pond.

You guys can keep that over in NJ. Here in Michigan we got about 1/8 of an inch. That's my kind of snow storm.

    Hi there

-1 (deg C) here -- light snow -- doesn't actually get as cold as Minneapolis / St.Paul in Minnesota etc -- not by a long way -- our main problem is near the shortest day sunrise is at 11.00 and sunset around 15.50 !! so short days until it starts getting a little sensible in middle of Jan again.

Still public transport in the City WORKS unlike some parts of London / Paris / Brussels where a tiny bit of snow in these places cause the whole kybosh to seize up.

Still the Bars are lively and it's not too bad once you get used to it. (Also our Energy bills are far less than in other parts of the world so not too bad really).

    Cheers

That is the part I would have a hard time with.

Barely an inch or so of snow here in N.Y. today.I knew N.J. received more as the storm was more south of us.
    Nice Picture robinb9.

Never looking foward to more snow ahead.not even winter yet.

Seems nothing stops N.Y.ers,can't even keep them off the road when weather is bad.

This is part of same storm that wreaked havoc across the midwest with ice and snow.

Can't say I miss the snow, ice, cold weather. I've had my share. My brother in Grantham, Pa (Harrisburg area) sent me a picture of his place. Didn't look too bad as his driveway and street were just wet.

Are you talking the Loma Prieta earthquake in 89, Bill? I was watching the Oakland/SF world series game that evening when the TV went fuzzy. My first thought was that the TV blew.
