    I am back

Well I really wasn't gone . .just in the hospital for Carotid Artery surgery. I would like to thank all of you who sent get well wishes, it is always nice to hear them. Sorry if this doesn't make sense, the doctor said it would take a couple or months before I was back to normal. I asked him what he meant by normal. . .couldn't answer that one. . .. . .Doc said by carotid artery was 90% blocked, hence the brain problems I've been having. Already there is a difference in how I walk; walking like a two year has been replaced with that of a four to five year old. . .big difference. My head is still a bit fuzzy, albeit getting a little better with each day.
The doc wasn't very nice though when he indicated there was no golfing until this coming spring. . .. . .When I can think of more to say I will attempt to conjure up some more about how important this surgery was for me.

I would like to specifically thank Hippsie for the warm wishes. . .

Glad you got fixed and your brain is working better. You still owe me $100, and don't say you don't remember.
    Get well soon.

Wow, welcome back Lee. Scary thing that. Good to see you are on the mend. You must have always felt bad with that much blockage. As you recover, you will feel better then you have in a long time. A Guy

Glad to see you back Lee, I wouldn't know what normal is so that's OK. You just keep getting better and back to full strength and I so pleased everything went well with the op.

Wow! I don't know where my head's been at either, Lee, but it certainly hasn't been in the lounge!!! Sorry for the delay. I need to get in the habit of checking in here once and awhile.

Welcome back. I'm so glad for you that the operation was successful. Please listen to the doc, practice delayed gratification one more time, heal up, and you'll be on that golf course sooner than you think!

Thank you so much for the extra mention, but I feel there were many here that were wishing you well. Besides, I'd do it for any devoted golfer!

BTW, Shawn > Old hippies are normal > Ask Willie.
