Anyone else here brew beer or mead at home?

The ginger wheat beer turned out great! I made up the recipe myself, so I'm very happy that it turned out so well. I'll post pics as soon as I can...

That sounds good! When do you think we'll have scratch and taste in technology?

Thanks, guys! I'll take some pics as soon as I can and post them. One of you guys will have to develop a way to transmit tastes (flavors) over the Internet!!

Lol! I just saw this. Missed it for some reason. You guys are soooo funny! My fiancé says I smell ok. That’s all that matters.

If man can think of it > man can build it. i.e. 3D printing wasn’t feasible not too long ago. We now have it. Things like this are absolutely amazing: 5-Axis Machining, 5-Axis Mill - YouTube.

To implement my idea we need something on this order: Lab-on-a-chip - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia. All we need is a peripheral/device with a driver/program that Art would pour his brew into so it could analyze the chemical makeup, change it into data, and send it over the wire where we receive it with a peripheral/device containing all the chemicals and/or molecules to reassemble them back into Art’s brew for us to taste or smell.

    Pretty simple.

Just My opinion.. Windows in the Win8 version is not suited for home use any longer. It is overly complex, and, even for experienced Windows users, it is counter intuitive in many areas. I think Windows 8 has taken complexity “one bridge too far” for ordinary users. This comment by me, a MSEE...

Home Theatre in General Support
I think Windows 8 will be great for people like me with Home Theatre setups, with the big tiles everything is a lot easier to see. I hope MS puts a lot of effort into MCE as I can see them becoming the Apple of Media consumption. Once the online store starts selling Music and Movies etc, I can see...
