Well this is just peachy.... My 1TB drive just took a not very nice.

or maybe the enclosure is shot. either way I'm not happy, and before I destroy the drive [RMA] you guys have any suggestions?

Oops forgot this thread existed.

its in my specs but its a WD 1TB.

Thermaltake said that it was the enclosure is at fault not the drive.

Rosewill enclosure, went bust. The power supply couldn't provide enough power to spin up the drive all the way.

WD said the drive is fine as well for only a year old. Power issue not getting enough power to seek the drive.

Puts the drive in a reboot loop [spin up, attempt to seek, spin down - in loop].
