    for old timers who remember IBM MVS/370 etc.
    This is interesting. I was not aware of this emulator. Since I was one of the developers of Rel.1 of MVS/360 in the early 60s, I might have a look at it. Maybe I can recognize something.

    Android isn't ready for the desktop quite yet but it has more chance of competing with Windows than any version of Linux.

What's the deal with Linux ? Just get it on CD and use it whenever without actually installing it. Everything will work as long as Windows has drivers installed? Or the computer? I'm wanting more security for banking & shopping but I wasn't smart enough for Ubuntu 5 or 6 years ago.

I have Ubuntu 12.04 running great on my laptop. I now want it on my desktop (see specs below) and i am curious as to whether or not Ubuntu's WUBI feature works with windows 8.
