Consumers prefer to entertain mobile devices over PCs

Consumers embrace of smartphones and tablets continues and for a good reason: they like their devices more than desktop and laptop computers.

Users of media and entertainment are significantly more satisfied with mobile sites and apps from outlets such as Fox and ESPN than their websites, finds a new survey out today from analytics firm ForeSee.

The average mobile satisfaction score of 77 out of 100 from consumers in the new survey conducted in June, was much higher than the 67 given to websites in a similar survey from earlier this year. "Mobile vastly outperformed the desktop experience from a content media entertainment industry standpoint," says Eric Feinberg, ForeSee's senior director of mobile, media and entertainment.
