I was 12 years old 50 years ago yesterday when I/we watched the Beatles first performance on the Ed Sullivan show. It started an American phenomenon called the English invasion. They played 5 five songs: ‘All My Loving,’ ‘Till There Was You,’ ‘She Loves You,’ ‘I Saw Her Standing There,’ and finally ‘I Want to Hold Your Hand’.
