I've always though these music videos were cool.

It's the Andean music group Sisay, from Ecuador, playing
in a South Korean subway (underground) station
    in 2004.

They are playing the popular South Korean song, "Don't Go Away".

Chopin like you have never heard him.

    The Hit That Never Was

(Note: This isn't now available on YouTube, or anywhere else that I know of. I took it off an old CD. It's a "wma" audio file for Windows Media Player.)

Everybody has a candidate for the song that "shoulda, woulda, coulda" been a hit, but wasn't. This is mine.

It was recorded in 1965 by the Turtles while making their first album, but it went unused. It finally came out on their last album, years later.

This song was just right for the kind of dancing that was then popular. It's the kind of song that makes you want to jump up and dance. You can't sit still listening to this. (Not if you're a 60's fan, I mean.)

And that's why I think if this HAD come out as a single in 1965, it might have been one of the biggest hits of that year. Note the steady pounding rhythm, the ringing guitar, and the vocal harmonies.

In the UK, at about the same time, there was a lighter "pop-style" recording of this song by the Roulettes, in the "early British rock" mold. I guess that was probably the original.
