    Smartphone makers try a lot of things to get people interested in their phones more than anyone else's. Over time, though, we've seen that risks of the wilder sort often result in spectacular failure, as all but the most niche or misled buyers hew to what they know, and ultimately prefer: predictable, and sometimes pedestrian, hardware features and software services.

    Companies that followed these ill-fated trends get credit for trying, but not much else.

So I am having a strange issue reading a burned DVD-DL disk in my Blu Ray drive. I create the disk in the Blu Ray drive using either Nero Burning Rom 2014 or even Windows Explorer and when I pop the disk back in to verify data it will not read the disk. If I pop the disk in my regular DVD burner...
When I reboot i get this balloon which tells me this. I did not want to burn any files although it has 2,000 and more listed. I want to clear this out...it is slowing down my pc. I look on the folder page and do not see anywhere to abort this procedure.

Hi there, Does the windows 8 consumer preview dvd, when booted ( not inside windows 7) take a very long time to see a prompt for 'press a day to boot from cd/dvd' ? My windows 7 dvd comes up with this prompt immediately. I know my checksum for windows 8 is fine, and I used the windows 8...
