Can guests now post without logging in?

If so, should we fix this?

EDIT: It appears that I cannot. However, whats up with this then:

I see why he's asking.

Bhuulo was a joined member, for some reason he didn't want an account anymore, so it was deleted. When that happens, there old posts show them as a guest. But they weren't guests in the guest sense. Real guests still can't post.

Is it possible to change the title of "Guest" to something else?

It will avoid confusion in the future.

Can it happen like any person who is not registered, can post in the forum? For example, the forum asks him to enter his name, email address and a CAPTCHA code to avoid spam. So that the user need not register in order to post. I have seen such things in websites like lifehacker.

It can be done, but only if the forum is setup a special way. John could for example make a public forum, where guests could be able to post. It has something to do with permissions from within the Vbulletin Admin Control Panel for the forum (or rather catergory like VIP, News, Chillout room etc.)

I have seen so many members which never returns after their problem is solved or they dont find what they were looking for on the forum.

We would be full of viagra ads in minutes, between all sites we ban hundreds of spammers every week that have registered never mind letting them post without registration
