    The thing the article pointed out was that the main reason why the mac was so reliable was due to the fact they had to do a clean install in Bootcamp. A crispy clean install of Windows is the best and only way to go.

    Which is why I will ALWAYS do a clean reinstall of Windows on other's PCs. Saves them problems and frustrations down the road, and I as well.

    I am confused, the thread is asking about a reliable HARDWARE (PC) not SOFTWARE (OS). Right?

    Both, the hardware is obviously dominated by apple, as that's what they do best. Software wise, the mac wins because of the clean install of Windows over the Acer, which was second, that has an amount of crapware installed.
