If you say so. Facts are facts. The MSN email has never been associated with Facebook and I have never used Facebook while running Windows 8.

Good thing I use Windows 7. Clearly a superior OS.

Have you at least checked around the other apps you've signed into with the Microsoft account if there are any facebook associations with them? Did you open the Photos app?

Maybe I forgot to mention this but this is happening in the photo app, not the people app. I haven't even used the people app yet nor have I signed into any app.

Nope. She has her own computer, her own Facebook account. She barely uses her computer at all.

It was a joke Same thing happened to me but i did log into facebook and when i opened the pictures app for the first time (i never used it before) all my facebook pics were there and all facebook friends were in the people app AND in skype. It seems windows synced everything on my behalf without asking , still it was easily sorted but none the less annoying

Exactly. It's kinda creepy. I just wish Windows would have asked before it did this. Invasion of privacy.

If you sign into Windows with a Microsoft Account, that will happen. This is by design to simplify digital accounts, like an aggregator. You give permission RIGHT THERE at the account prompt to allow information from your accounts to things like that. Not creepy, just read what's there rather than clicking Next.

Wrong. I signed into Windows 8 with an account that had NOTHING to do with Facebook, and I didn't dign into anything while using Windows 8, and to top that off I didn't sign into Facebook at all while using Windows 8 This is clearly an abuse of privacy.

Windows 8 is a crappy OS. I will stick to Windows 7 until Windows 9 comes out. If 9 is like 8 I will just switch to Linux.
