Thanks all! I have 8 VMs, a good mix of 98, XP, Vista, 7, 8, Ubuntu, Elementary OS, and Chromium OS. It isn't the same, if you know what I mean.
    Anyone want a signature?

Let me take a guess... it's installed and running but you don't feel the real deal, dual-boot risks, where some boot entry's will mess others. But if you have UEFI and even without it: a Win8 hybrid boot will make multi-boots worse than expected.

I wanted to test Zorin OS but it's Ubuntu based and UEFI (my Win8 SecureBoot as well) wouldn't allow the dual-boot form what I read around here. A VM is what works very well.

I also got the Win98 and ME to my list.

Welcome back! I tried dual-booting but had many, many problems, so I installed Win8 on my main PC for awhile. I went back to Win7 on my main PC, which is soon to be upgraded (subject of a separate thread) and I'll run Win8 on my test PC.

An easy option would be to install it with VMware Player. That works really very well and allows you to run both systems side by side.

Thanks! I'll consider that (VM option), but I'll probably use my test PC for Win8, since it will be available soon...
