That’s enough; we have another 6 months waiting for Australians national broadband
To bring optical fiber to place which should greatly improve our speed but until then…

I (theoretically, cough cough) copy the ISO off a server in about 16 minutes.

Even so. The NBN that is being set up here in Australia probably still won't catch up to anything elsewhere that's decent. Broadband here is so behind ;(

That's me. So now you know why I'm in a bad mood (or at least I was in thread back here) online.

No he is right on the conversion. Mine is set at megabits per second so diving it by 8 bits to equal one byte, it comes out about right.

And I would be grumpy too if I had a half a MB per second download. Sometimes I get frustrated when I go home and get 1/25th of the speed...

Wait... does this mean 8GB would take just a bit over half an hour?! I'd kill for that.. o-o

    Alright.

OOPS. I multiplied by 8 because in picture it says 630 MB/s (bytes) and not 630 Mbps (bits)
That means bytes in picture then...

    1 byte = 8bits
My picture also has Mb/s and I have to multiply by 8 to about 3.6Mbps download.

But 1/25th of what you have still exceeds me and is still pretty good.... for typing on forums, to start with.
