    Yeah, I liked the weather in San Diego. When it is 74, it is cold and when it is 76, it is hot. Very little temperature changes.

    lol... yeah it's all about what you're used to. After we have a few days stint around here of 15F-degree weather, we're out in shorts and t-shirt when it hits 25F again.

    I am home sick right now with some sort of virus. Bronchitis, runny nose. Haven't been to work since last Friday. So I can't say nice weather means you can't get the flu.

while i was trying Linux Mint i noticed they has a desktop weather app that i liked. anyone know of a similar one for win 8
I have The Weather app permissions set to allow it to display the weather on the lock screen. This has been working fine for some time -- up until now. Now it only shows alerts, not the temperature. Any idea how to fix this?

well, I finally got the new version of the weather app. pretty snazzy to have that live updating... something neat about seeing the clouds move across the map.
Solved Metro app weather in General Support
Metro app weather says it can't run if uac is off. Don't know why Win 8 started giving that message, although I did have uac control off. Is there a fix other than having uac on.

When I try to open the weather app to load a new city, the app starts, but never opens so I can change the settings.
Solved Weather app in Customization
I have worked out how to get to the add location and change units in this app but although have added my correct location cannot make it my home location I want to get rid of the current home location which is 300 miles away from where I am! Any help on doing that please ?
