Solved windows 8 phone

Can anyone help me download music for free on my Nokia 920? I can't seem to play music without having to have it use my data every time a song plays. I am used to my android phone, it had free apps and free music. I don't want to have to susbscribe to the xbox music or itunes. please help!

How about downloading free MP3's onto your computer and then transfer them to your Phone. Or rip cd's you own to MP3 and transfer them to the Phone.

As far as I know those are the most common legal ways to get music onto your Phone without listening to music streams. And when I listen to a music stream I make sure I'm connected to a WIFI connection.

Don't think you can get advise here on this forum about the illegal ways to get music onto your Phone

Since you have a Nokia Lumia phone, you have access to Nokia Music. You can download playlists of music on wifi so you can play them offline.

I copy the music I've download, ripped, purchased, etc... from my PC to my L920 using Windows Explorer and they're all there, no issues. This is what I tried to do for 4 years with my iPhones and I couldn't do it. Using iTunes for this simple task was mind numbing, now it's easy and fast!
