    I made it.

    I photographed a few still frames from Forbidden Planet and merged pieces to enhance the grain, like a bas-relief.
    I made same adjustments to parts here and there in Photoshop. Voila.

    If you like this type of thing - I did an Administrator desktop background for my computer in a similar vein.
    My computer name is 'Morbius' so the image is obvious.

    I stuck to a really simple yet beautiful design for my laptop running Windows 8 Pro, it's got NO desktop clutter, and I'm using Pokki for pretty much anything I can considering it's so simplistic

Just noticed this and found it kinda annoying. The instance i was in was watching some youtube videos, then i decided i was finished and closed the desktop by dragging down and throwing it away. Firefox was minimized. But i noticed the video was still playing in the background. Is this supposed...
I don't know what to call the old desktop since the tile version is called Metro. But when working on the old desktop version and you want to clear everything off the screen and just view the desktop, where is the button for this? XP had this button, but cant find it on W8.
