Camping at Best Buy over Thanksgiving

Camping at Best Buy over Thanksgiving

Had to run to the pet store tonight to pick up some food for the cat and came past Best Buy where we saw at least 15 tents lined up.

I find it sad that people will dedicate at least 2 full days of their lives in order to get some great deal. Seriously, rather than enjoying Thanksgiving with their families, they are instead going to spend the next few days waiting in line for something.

I don't even have a clue what Best Buy actually has on sale...but I cannot imagine anything in the store worth skipping a holiday for.

They don't have the Surface Pro or RT, so WAY not worth it than it already is! Maybe they're just in line see the products themselves before they buy it from the amazon.....com.

To each his/her own, but as for me, I will be with my family inside, and enjoying a wonderful dinner!

I think that has become kind of a sport. I cannot imagine anything that would really justify such an effort.

We used to go to Sam's club at 5AM for their free breakfeast - not because we had nothing to eat at the house, but because it was fun. But this year they have become so cheap (only danish and coffee) that I think we'll skip that.

Even if they do have Surface , it will not be in special, at least not enough to lose 2 days. I think many of those line up peoples do it for the social.

I just cannot see the sport when it involves missing a major holiday in which you give thanks for what you have, but instead they wait in line for what they want.

Oh well, the big present for our kids this year is the wii-u, and I walked into a Wal-Mart and bought the deluxe today. Cannot believe they actually had one. I paid full price, but there was not a line and no waiting.

I agree. The saddest thing too is some get injured and some get arrested for the violence. I mean geez. What kind of society are we becoming?!

Good for you on the Wii. Not only good clean fun for the kids, it's good family fun.

I was at Best Buy in Sanford on Monday morning to pick up something and the first tent was already there! That's just nuts!
