I noticed on this weeks episode Eric was using a Surface. It looked way cool. Great advertising on Microsoft's part.

And on the hurricane Sandy benefit show tonight, domains could be made via iTunes. Now there is some brand placement right there.

My wife saw an ad on tv tonight for Windows 8 and asked when it was coming out. I thought that was funny.

I don't know about anyone else, but part of the reason I watch TV right now is to actually watch a Windows 8 or Surface advert....I'm actually liking those adverts....

Windows has finally learned that you have to advertise in order to sell a consumer product. The ads are great. It almost makes me want to get one, but I'm not sure I want RT. I did pay the $40 to upgrade my Windows tablet though.

Every show on TV is an advert (product placement), which is why I haven't watched TV in over 2 years. The commercials unsult your intelligence and the shows are a thinly veiled commercial, too. I simply can't tolerate it any more and I have more free time to do my hobbies and waste time on forums!!

Secretly, part of the reason why I'm watching TV nowadays are for the Windows 8 commercials and product placements, Windows Phone commercials, and the Surface commercials.... I really like them, especially Windows Phone! UGH! FINALLY! Microsoft is ACTUALLY getting Windows Phone known! I thought I never actually saw a Windows Phone 7 commercial before, but then I remembered one where it had an Xbox avatar to show off Xbox Live and another commercial of people engorged on their phones. Both NEVER showed the ACTUAL UI of it. The new Windows Phone 8 commercials are. YES!
