    BSOD ntoskrnl.exe+46340

    Hi Everyone

Previously I had random BSOD error with ntoskrnl.exe+46340, then I did a fresh install again.

However I still recieve this BSOD.

    OS: win 8 preview release

Memtest done with no errors - tested individual sticks on different dimm slots
Verifier done for 30mins - no error
chkdisk done - no bad sectors or errors

    Attached dump file for review.

    Appreciate someone could help out.

Leave verifier running until you get a BSOD

    Install as little as possible.

Everything should be up to date.

All my drivers are latest as I download everything when I did the fresh install.

I will run the verifier overnight today and post back tomorrow on the outcome

New discoveries I notice when I do memtest for 4 sticks of my memory I got 10 errors, but when I do the test for individual stick there is no error.

Does this mean a faulty memory?

Try using a can of compressed air to blow dust off the mobo, and also remove the memory sticks from their slots and clean the dust there.

Also, are you trying to download this game with a torrent program, by any chance ? Right now the only compatible Torrent programs for Windows 8 are Bittorrent and uTorrent, and yes, the rest have a chance of causing BSOD's. Happened to me too.

The mobo is a brand new one about 1 week + old.

I am downloading Guild Wars 2 using it installer.
